McCann Family

I am descended from Peter McCann, an Irish convict from the 1798 rebellion, transported for seven years. Peter arrived on 11 Jan 1800 aboard the Minerva and was immediately assigned to a working party. My granddaughters are the ninth generation to live in Australia and the eighth generation Australian born. We are all extremely proud of our heritage.

  1. Hi There,
In my research for a Henry Hall, I have found his father is William Nelson McCann. He deserted the Mother and this was in 1868.
I would love to hear more on his activities in America.
