Hi There,
ReplyDeleteIn my research for a Henry Hall, I have found his father is William Nelson McCann. He deserted the Mother and this was in 1868.
I would love to hear more on his activities in America.
Can you send me an email at hpconnor47@gmail.com and I can provide details
DeleteHelen
ReplyDeleteMy mother’s family were McCanns’s mostly based in Brisbane. Her great aunts were involved in clothing both making and selling, in the 50’s
The key person was Olive assisted by her sisters Pat, and Gladys. They were financially successful , and live in a mansion in Brisbane called Denmora, which I think became an old people’s home , now a vacant block of land
